Some people just don’t know when to quit.
It seems that the unity plan at the democratic convention in denver later this year between Obama and Hillary is, in this blogger’s mind, is going to be thrown out into the rockies to fend for itself because of Hillary’s supporters.
Back in April and May, when Obama pulled ahead of Hillary in the delegates, a poll on the internet stated that if Hillary doesn’t get the nomination, 10% of her supporters would vote for the republican presidential nominee, John McCain. The survey also said the same thing for Obama. It seems that either way, the liberals are fucked out of ten percent of their voters. If this poll is believed to be true, five percent of all voters are going to indefinitely to the republican side from the democratic side because of their candidate didn’t win the nomination.
The only logical thing that the liberals could have done to win, is to run Hillary and Obama on the same ticket. Obama has decided to not run with Hillary.
But it doesn’t seem good for the GOP either, because McCain has a past of being liberally prone and the only way for him to get the conservatives and some liberals behind him is to wisely choose his running mate.
So in my mind, this election is not one to vote for the president as much as it is the vice president.
My thought if the republicans want to win, that McCain should choose Mitt Romney, and if the democrats want to win, that Obama should choose Hillary Clinton.
So, who will you vote for? Romney or Hillary?
